A year after BIP Summit 2024, the program’s investment story is measured in closed and advancing deals.

BIP does not claim credit for every dollar that moves after a summit — markets are more complicated than that. What the program can track is the conversations it structures and the diligence paths it accelerates.
For 2024, that tracking points to more than $360 million in foreign investment facilitated into the Kurdistan Region, building on more than $100 million associated with the 2023 edition.
Sectors spanning energy, construction, healthcare, and tourism appear across the portfolio, with a noticeable tilt toward projects that pair international operators with local execution partners.
The 2025 program doubles down on that pattern: fewer generic panels, more sector dealrooms, and clearer post-event follow-up for registered cohorts.
